Overview

This role will focus on paperboard/printed packaging – corrugated and printed cartons. Key tasks will be focused around qualification of components and associated supply chain for transition to Tabler Station. In addition, the Project Manager will manage and lead weekly supplier meetings, work proactively to drive issues to resolution and ensure clear / concise communication is maintained at all times internally within the P&G team and externally with vendors / partners.

There are three specific sets of work:

1.) Qualification of corrugated supply from Pratt Beloit (as a backup vendor), into the new ‘vendor village’ in Tabler Station, from the vendor village to the new packing line (B6) and qualification online.

  • To define any specific requirements for the new supply chain, new packing line set up / equipment and new route to market arising from the transition from Iowa City to Tabler Station.

  • To work with the team at Pratt, Beloit, to understand any manufacturing or collation / shipping implications and to develop / qualify solutions.

  • To qualify the supply chain – including testing from Beloit to near site Tabler Station W/H, including temperature / humidity evaluation to confirm fitness for use.

  • To qualify new printing / cutting tools

  • To manage E-COA implementation and qualification

  • To complete new master specification implementation on SKU's defined for Tabler Station

  • To complete and document B6 line qualification at Tabler Station, working closely with Tabler Packaging MPD.

2.) Qualification of high graphic, rolled edge trays (replacing current RSC), produced by Georgia Pacific to support start-up for Tabler Station

  • To define any specific requirements for the new supply chain, new packing line set up / equipment and new route to market arising from the transition from current P&G delivery point in to Tabler Station.

  • To ensure that a QA audit is completed at the site (working with QA).

  • To qualify new printing / cutting tools and production lines within Georgia Pacific

  • To manage E-COA implementation and qualification

  • To complete new master specification implementation on SKU's defined for Tabler Station

  • To complete and document nominated packing line qualification at Tabler Station, working closely with Tabler Packaging MPD.

3.) Ensure E-COA readiness of PWI carton supplier for Tabler Station

  • To define any specific requirements for the new supply chain, new packing line set up / equipment and new route to market arising from the transition from current P&G delivery point in to Tabler Station.

  • To identify current specification parameters that may require a change to or development of new reportables for Hair and PCC

  • To build the templates on the E-COA System

  • To set up the supplier in E-COA

  • To complete all required testing for production in Tabler Station

  • To complete and document nominated packing line qualification at Tabler Station, working closely with Tabler Packaging MPD.

Working Methods:

The Project Manager for this range of assignments will work closely with a corporate team in Cincinnati and Tabler Station. It is envisaged that time will initially be focused more in Cincinnati, working on-site. Significant travel to vendors will also be required.

As the program progresses work will transition to Tabler Station, to complete line trials/qualification processes.
