CBTS has partnered with a global software company in the Cincinnati, OH area to identify Java Developers (from a jr-mid level experience) on a DIRECT HIRE OPENING!

Qualified candidates should have experience with the following:

Duties:

Responsible for developing and unit testing assigned software features and functionalities.

Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems/defects.

Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.

Participate in daily meetings to communicate work progress and potential roadblocks.

Work to continuously improve software delivery processes and practices.

Present, collaborate and add value to the company and team through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.

Work collaboratively and professionally with other client employees in cross functional teams to achieve goals.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requires experience in the following technologies:

Java, Java User Interface (AWT and Swing), J2EE development (JSP, HTML, XML, Struts), JDBC, SQL and RDBMS.

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Requires 1 to 3 years of development experience.

Requires experience with object oriented design and programming.

Requires a working knowledge of client products and services or the ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of client products and services.

Requires high motivation to ensure smooth delivery of difficult and complex projects for both the customer and client.

Requires experience and awareness of market developments and retail industry.

Requires effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and interact well with coworkers.

Requires the demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across the company to achieve common goals.

Requires a goal-oriented and driven attitude with a superior ability to execute and sustain a high sense of urgency.

Requires excellent memory, organizational ability, and the ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Requires strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, and travel.
