Job Purpose





This position will perform development tasks for designated IT projects and applications including but not limited to Web-based application development, database design and development and custom application development. The position is also responsible for maintaining critical operational application systems that support the business.



Essential Functions



•Serve as development resource on new development efforts or enhancements to existing applications / software systems (70%)

◦Work with IT managers/Application Administrators on new development, enhancements or maintenance for existing custom-developed applications or packaged software.

•Participation on project teams as technical or development resource. (20%)

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent

•Bend and shape large calbes, coil case stubs or apparatus stubs while working aloft on poles/ladders, in truck-suspended buckets or in manholes. 

•Attach or dismantle aerial and underground wire and associated hardware to cables, buildings or poles
